App CSV import not Unicode compatible

description

Unless I'm missing something obvious, the CSV import does not seem to be Unicode compatible. Arabic and Latin diacritics (French, Spanish) are being garbled. Any chance of changing this?

Ditto for the VS2012 add-in:
INSERT INTO [Labels] ([ID],[en],[fr],[es],[ar]) VALUES (N'Add',N'Add',N'ajouter',N'añadir',N'إضافة');
That's the SQL generated within VS. Not what I was going for...

Could you attache a csv file with the "correct" data, then I will look into it.

Thanks Erik,

Here's the CSV file in question. It's for my SQL-driven multilingual engine.

Actually...I'm getting a blank window when I launch the program.

Should be fixed now...

Did the fix work ase expected?

nlaslett wrote Apr 7, 2013 at 3:34 AM

Yep, looks good. I'm now getting Unicode INSERT statements like this:
``` INSERT INTO [Labels] ([ID],[en],[fr],[es],[ar]) VALUES (N'Add',N'Add',N'ajouter',N'añadir',N'إضافة');
`` The look good in the .sqlce file and insert without any problems.
Thanks,
Neil
